Active Communities for Flooded Areas
Program Active Communities for Flooded Areas is part of the program Active Communities, but this time strictly directed to supporting local communities affected by floods in the previous period.
We invite all citizens' associations, sports associations, informal groups and foundations that operate in local communities affected by floods to apply with project proposals focused on rehabilitation of respective communities, resolving concrete problems caused by floods, support to vulnerable groups etc.
Aim of the program
The aim of the program Active Communities for Flooded Areas is support to capacity building of local civil society organizations to respond to the needs of communities affected by floods in Serbia.
Who can apply
Citizens' associations, sports associations, informal groups and foundations based in communities where project would be implemented could apply to this call. Associations supported through the Active Communities for two times in the past, and associations whose capacities surpass this program are also eligible to apply.
Associations based outside communities specified in the call, international organizations, state institutions, governmental bodies and profit initiatives are not eligible to apply.
Donation amount
Maximum budget amount is 400.000,00 dinars.
Grant making criteria
Program is geographically limited, and directed only to communities affected by floods in May 2014. It is necessary that project proposals of organizations (or informal groups) provide precise information on the level of vulnerability of community, needs of citizens, support so far, official damage data and similar.
Application deadline
Deadline for application is September 4th 2014 till 17 hours. Project proposals should be sent to e-mail prijave@tragfondacija.org
Area of support
Support is intended only for projects directed to resolving the problems of general interest of community affected by floods, that are not in state jurisdiction. It is important that problem description provides accurate and precise data on the problem community is dealing with, that problem being a direct consequence of floods, number of community members affected by the problem, is there a state promised/delivered help for resolving that problem etc.
