Sustainability Academy

With the aim to support civil society organizations to work on their long term financial sustainability and to establish closer cooperation with wide circle of potential donors in local community, Trag and partners within SIGN network have initiated program Sustainability Academy intended to build capacity of organizations in order for them to achieve sustainability through diversifying financing sources and bigger participation of citizens in their work.

Sustainability Academy is educational grant program consisting in four training modules covering following areas: strategic and financial planning combined together, raising funds from local sources (from companies and individuals), profit activities of organizations and sustainability plans development.
15 selected organizations will participate in the program. Besides educational program they will have the opportunity to apply gained knowledge in fund raising activities in their respective communities.

The most successful organizations will receive grant from Trag in the amount of raised fund, maximum till 3.000 Euro.

Sustainability Academy is part of the project “SIGN for Sustainability” implemented by the SIGN network of local foundations from Western Balkans, financed by European Union through the Program of support to civil society and co-financed by Balkan Democracy Trust.

Partners on the project “SIGN for Sustainability” and at the same members of SIGN network are Trag from Serbia, Mosaic Foundation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fund for Active Citizenship - fAKT from Montenegro, Center for Institutional Development - CIRa from Macedonia and Forum for citizens' initiatives - FIQ from Kosovo. Partners on this project are also VIA Foundation from Czech Republic and associate is National Foundation for Civil Society Development from Croatia.
